The Jeppesen Pilot Syllabus provides step-by-step lesson plans for each phase of flight training for both ground school and flight lessons.
The ground school portions lays out lesson references based on the Jeppesen Manuals, recommended sequence of instruction for that days instruction, time allocations, lesson objectives, academic content, study assignments, and acceptable student completion standards.
The flight school portion offers suggested lesson objectives, time to spend in the air, preflight discussions, each day's topics and skills to demonstrate and practice, post-flight discussion criteria and review, study assignments, references, and student completion standards.
Basic course descriptions, descriptions of each stage, and overall program planning is also included, as is a certificate of completion to be filled out by the instructor for the student.
